La nueva congregaci\u00f3n se llam\u00f3 a s\u00ed misma &#8220;Congregaci\u00f3n hebrea Merthyr Tydfil&#8221;, y erigi\u00f3 su primera sinagoga en 1852-1855 en la calle John.
